February Favorites

Hello! I haven't done a monthly favorite in a few months so it is probably about time that I did one. I have been trying a few new products that I really like and would love to share with you all.
Naked 3- I'm pretty sure that I have used this palette every day this month. I love the rose colored shades and think they are so girly and flirty. I have done a couple of tutorials using this palette so if you would like to see them click here and here

Hard Candy-Fox in a Box
Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl eyeliner in nude- I used to apply white eyeliner to my waterline to make my eyes look bigger and more awake. I had always heard that wearing a nude color looks more natural, but I never tried it. I saw this product on Pinterest and decided to give it a try and I am so glad that I did because I like this much better than the white. It still brightens up my eye area without looking too unnatural.
Hard Candy Fox in a Box- I have had this blush for quite a while and it got pushed to the back of my makeup drawer. I recently rediscovered it and I forgot how much I like it. It is a little bit too dark on my fair skin, but with a light hand and some blending it looks nice. I have the color Hot Flash.  The packaging is so cute too. It reminds me of Benefit's products.
Clinique Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator- I only have the sample size that my wonderful grandma gave me. She knows how much I like trying new products and she gave me a little bag full of Clinique goodies. My skin is normally oily and I don't usually have an issue with dry skin, but this winter my skin has been dry in some spots. I have been using this product at night mostly on my cheeks and nose and it has helped a lot.
Maybelline Mega Plush Volum' Express Mascara- This mascara does what it say and really gives my lashes volume. If I am going for a more natural look I will just wear this one on its own, but if I am going out I will pair with the Maybelline Colossal Mascara that lengthens.
Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Nude Delight- This is the perfect peachy nude shade lipstick. It is very creamy and goes on smoothly. I don't know if I would say that this product moisturizes my lips, but it doesn't dry them out like a lot of other lip products. This color is nice for everyday wear and I find myself reaching for it a lot.
Studio Gear Hidden Agenda Concealer- I have a hard time finding concealers that I like that last all day. This one not only lasts all day, but is thick enough to cover my dark circles and blemishes, but it isn't cakey. If you want to read a full review about this product click here.

I am on Spring Break this week and plan on doing a few posts. If there is anything that you would like to see please let me know below :)

  1. Great list of favorites Kelly! I really want the Naked 3, and seeing how much everyone loves it makes it hard to resist! I have the Lorac Unzipped, so I'm not sure if I "need" it. haha I am a fan of your Rimmel picks too! The kohl liners are such good quality for the price! xoxo Lauren

    1. Thank you! I love that the Naked 3 has colors that are a lot different than the other Naked palettes. Lorac's Unzipped is really pretty too and it looks like it has a few similar colors. I had never tried any of Rimmels eyeliners before this one, but they are awesome for the price. I plan on picking up some different colors when I'm out.
      Thanks for the comment!

  2. I have tried a couple of clinque products in the past and they have worked well on/with my skin. I also normally have oily skin but this winter have had some dry patches around my nose so I will have to give Clinique Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator (wow that's a mouthful!) a try. Also I have yet to try any of the urban decay naked palettes...so maybe a trip to the beauty department is in order? :)

    1. I have only tried a couple of Clinique's products, but the ones I have tried are awesome. I had dry, flaky skin around my nose and it took care of it. The Naked Palettes are expensive, but I totally think they are worth it. I used my Naked 1 almost everyday and now that I have Naked 3 I normally use it. Their eye shadows are good quality.
