How to clean makeup brushes

Makeup brushes should be cleaned weekly-biweekly to wash away bacteria and excess makeup that can clog pores and cause acne.

Materials Needed:
-2 Towels
-a Sink
-Baby Shampoo
-Dirty Brushes

Step 1: Put a dime size amount of baby shampoo on the palm of your hand for larger brushes (powder, blush, kabuki, etc.) and a pea  size amount for smaller brushes (eye shadow, angled, concealer etc.)I use baby shampoo because it is more gentle than regular shampoo, and its cheaper than professional cleaning products(and probably works just as well.)
Step 2: Wet the brush and gently rub the bristles on your palm in a circular motion. Be careful not to bend the bristles.
Step 3:Rinse the shampoo from the brush thoroughly with warm water. Make sure to keep the bristles downward to prevent water from getting into the brush and loosening the glue holding it together.
Step 4: Gently towel dry the excess water from the brushes. Put the bristles into their natural form.
Step 5: Lay the brushes on a towel to dry overnight.
