Sephora Sol de Rio Bronzing Powder Review

Hello! Today I wanted to do a review on Sephora's Sol de Rio Bronzing Powder. I bought this powder a few weeks ago and have used it every day since I got it. I have never been one to contour my face every day, but I have been more since getting this. Nothing too dark, just a little bit under my cheek bones, on my temples and I to contour my nose. Its nice to have a little extra color on my face, especially since the weather is warmer.
Color: This bronzer is matte and is the perfect shade of warm brown for light skin. It isn't too muddy and looks natural. It is extremely easy to blend the color and although the color is light, it is buildable. Unfortunately it only comes in this one color, so it may not work for medium or dark skin tones.
Packaging: It comes in a beautiful package. It seems like good quality and snaps shut. It has a full size mirror on the inside, which is nice.

Size: This product is huge! It comes with 25 grams/ .88 ounces. I'm pretty sure this bronzer will last forever!
Scent: I was a little bit surprised by the scent. It smells like baby powder. It's not bad, but it might bother some people.
Price: $22 exclusively at Sephora.
I love this bronzer. It is perfect for adding a little bit of color to my fair skin, while still looking natural. I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a good bronzer. It is kind of pricey, but I think it's worth it for the amount of product you get. It is limited edition, so if you are interested in it, make sure you pick one up soon.
Thanks for visiting!

  3. The packaging is gorgeous and it looks very natural on you. Unfortunately I'd probably need a darker shade. Great review!

  4. Any suggested dupes? This seems perfect for me and I'm so sad it's not available. If you have something else really similar I'd love to know what!

    1. Hello! I am disappointed this was only a limited edition bronzer. I would recommend getting either the Hoola bronzer by Benefit, or a more affordable option is the Natural Sun Bronzer by Rimmel. Both are nice for lighter completions and won't give an orangey tint. Thanks for reading!
