Hello! and happy first day of spring. I normally try to avoid buying jeans with holes in them because I always end up ripping the threads that go across it. I have a hard time finding jeans that fit well, and these ones fit perfect. They have lasted almost a year without ripping, but this past weekend they finally did. The great thing about lace is that it comes in many different patterns and colors. I have seen a lot of white lace patches, but I wanted to try something different, so I chose to use black.
Materials Needed:
A pair of jeans
Lace
Fabric Glue
Scissors
Step 1: Turn the jeans inside out and cut the lace to fit over the hole. I left about an inch extra on each side. It doesn't have to be perfect, just enough so that it can be glued.
Step 2: Make sure that any torn thread is tucked away so you don't get glue on it. Apply glue around the hole and press the lace on it. I held the fabric in place for a minute after gluing it.Step 3: Let it dry overnight.
I chose to cut the torn threads off, but you can keep it if you like.
Here is the finished product.
Let me know if you try this out.

Rose Gold Love
Hello! I don't know about you, but I have been loving Rose Gold {even more} lately. It seems to catch my eye in the stores. These are a few of my favorite things that are Rose Gold.
I really like Michael Kors watches, but there is no way that I would spend almost $300 for a watch. I got this Relic watch about a year and a half ago. I don't wear it everyday, but when I do I normally pair it with a few bracelets. It has crystals around the face and those have stayed in tact well. I got it from JcPenney's, but I wasn't able to find it online. I did find a similar watch by Fossil here. It is fairly expensive, but if you need a watch, I recommend investing in a quality watch if you can.
Orly Rage is a beautiful metallic color with shimmer in it. It is a foil finish. It goes on nicely and only takes 2 coats to be opaque.
I love this heart bracelet by Lauren Conrad. If you haven't checked out her collection at Kohls -you should! She has some really cute jewelry for a great price.
I don't have this color yet, but I am definitely going to pick it up. This baked eyeshadow is a lovely color called Enchanted by E.L.F. I love applying baked eyeshadows wet because it intensifies the color. And the best part is these shadows are only $3!

Spring Nail Polishes
Hello! I hope everyone is having a great week. Even though this has been the 4th snow day I've had this year, spring is on my mind. I cannot wait for it to get here! The past 2 days we have had 50 degree weather, then today we get hit with 7 inches of snow. Crazy Michigan weather! I have been on the hunt for some new spring nail polish colors. These are my favorite ones that I have found. I own some of these, but they are all colors that I would wear. A couple of the colors are similar, but I wanted to make sure there was a range of prices.
Essie:
First Timer- This color is a bright mint green. This was one of my favorites from last year.
Off the Shoulder- This reminds me of a barbie pink. Bright pink/ fuchsia
My Place or Yours- A pink-coral color
In the Cab-ana- A lovely Aqua Blue. This was another favorite from last summer.
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure:
Cur-tan Call- I have been loving light colors for my nails. This one is a nice light pink.
Take the Leap- This is a pretty iridescent color that is purple and pink when it catches the light.
Peach of Cake- Peaches/Corals are perfect for spring and summer.
I Lilac You- Obviously a lilac color.
Maybelline Color Show Nail Lacquer:
Emerald City- This is a pretty polish with blue/teal and purple glitter.
Fierce-N-Tangy-I have been wanting to get a yellow polish for a little while. Its between this one and OPIs Banana Bandana.
Pretty in Peach- A lovely coral
Petal Plush- A nice rose color

Polka Dot Nail Art
Hello! and Happy Friday! This week seems to have flown by. We are almost done with redoing are bedroom which is exciting. I will post a couple of pictures when we are done.
I have been wanting to do this look for a little while, and finally found the time to paint my nails. It was a lot of fun to do, and I like it a lot better than I thought I would.
Steps:
Step 1: Paint your nails with a solid color. I chose OPI Ski Teal We Drop.
Step 2: Pick out the colors you want to dot with. Dot with the lightest color first. I started dotting with Orly in White Tips. I was not able to find a doting tool when I was at Ulta, so I just used the end of a bobby pin. It actually worked a lot better than I thought it would.
Step 3: Dot your next color. I used Flip Flop Fantasy by China Glaze.
Step 4: Dot any remaining colors. I chose to use 3 different colors. You could stop at 2 if you want. The last color I used was Flyin' High by China Glaze.
Step 5: Give your nails a few minutes to dry before applying a top coat. If you do it too soon all of the dots will smear and all of your hard work will be ruined.
Step 6: Apply a top coat. As always, I used Essie's all-in-one 3-way glaze.
I hope you guys like this look.
Have a great weekend!

FOTD: Warm Bronze
Hello Ladies! surprisingly, this is my first FOTD post. I don't really know where I have been and why I haven't done one yet. I'm not doing too much today, but I am going to dinner with a couple of good friends that I haven't seen in a while. The face makeup is what I normally wear on a day to day basis, but I did have fun doing something a little bit different with my eyeshadow. I normally go for a more natural eye, and this one is a little bit darker than I would normally wear. I hope you guys like this look!
Face Products:
Covergirl 3-in-1 Foundation in classic ivory (810)
Revlon ColorStay Pressed Powder in translucent
Pur Mineral Blush in Bella
Hoola Bronzer by Benefit
NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder in Dark Brown
Lips:
Revlon Moisture Renew Lipstick in Nude Delight
Eye Products:
I started by applying Too Faced Shadow Insurance to my entire eye lid and on my lower lash line.
Then I applied Maybelline's Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze to my lid.
I used the Naked 3 Palette and used Nooner in the crease and blended it slightly upwards and out.
I packed Trick, a beautiful gold color on the lid where Bad to the Bronze was applied.
Factory was placed in the outer 'v' area and slightly in the crease.
I also blended Factory on my lower lash line, and Trick slightly underneath factory.
Strange was appled to the inner corner of my eye to brighten my eyes.
I used Rimmel ScandalEyes in Nude on my waterline to brighten my eyes as well.
I lined my upper lash line with Maybelline Eyestudio Gel Eyeliner in Blackest Black.
Lastly I used Maybelline Mega Plush Volum' Express Mascara in Very Black.

Lipstick Favorites
Hello! I hope everyone is having a great week. Since we are on spring break this week, my husband and I are trying to get some things done around the house. One thing on the list is to redo our bedroom, so I have been painting while he is at work.Today I wanted to share with you some of my favorite lipsticks.
1. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Smitten- This is a nice berry color that is perfect for fall and winter. I like these stains because they are light with one coat, but the color can be built with a couple of layers. The only issue I have, is they tend to dry my lips out. Anytime I wear them I exfoliate and use a lip balm on top of it.
2. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey- I talk about this color all of the time on my blog. It is definitely my all time favorite color and the one I wear the most often. It is a natural lip color but better.
3. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Romantic- I love this red color. Just like Smitten and Honey, it can be applied lightly for a more natural color, or a few layers will give it a bolder color. I would say that it has a hint of orange in it too.
4. Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Creamsicle- I don't wear this color to much in the winter, but I think it is the perfect color for spring and summer. These lip butters are nice and creamy and don't dry my lips out.
5. Studio Gear Cosmetics Lipstick in Smile- I'm almost positive that I got this in an Ipsy Glam Bag a while ago. This isn't a color that I would have picked out for myself, but I like it for a night out.
6. Clinique Long Last Lipstick in Bamboo Pink-This is a nice natural color, similar to Revlon's Honey.
7. Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Nude Delight- This color is a peachy-nude. I love that it doesn't wash me out or make me look dead, like other nude lipsticks I have tried. It's nice and creamy.

February Favorites
Hello! I haven't done a monthly favorite in a few months so it is probably about time that I did one. I have been trying a few new products that I really like and would love to share with you all.
Naked 3- I'm pretty sure that I have used this palette every day this month. I love the rose colored shades and think they are so girly and flirty. I have done a couple of tutorials using this palette so if you would like to see them click here and here.
Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl eyeliner in nude- I used to apply white eyeliner to my waterline to make my eyes look bigger and more awake. I had always heard that wearing a nude color looks more natural, but I never tried it. I saw this product on Pinterest and decided to give it a try and I am so glad that I did because I like this much better than the white. It still brightens up my eye area without looking too unnatural.
Hard Candy Fox in a Box- I have had this blush for quite a while and it got pushed to the back of my makeup drawer. I recently rediscovered it and I forgot how much I like it. It is a little bit too dark on my fair skin, but with a light hand and some blending it looks nice. I have the color Hot Flash. The packaging is so cute too. It reminds me of Benefit's products.
Clinique Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator- I only have the sample size that my wonderful grandma gave me. She knows how much I like trying new products and she gave me a little bag full of Clinique goodies. My skin is normally oily and I don't usually have an issue with dry skin, but this winter my skin has been dry in some spots. I have been using this product at night mostly on my cheeks and nose and it has helped a lot.
Maybelline Mega Plush Volum' Express Mascara- This mascara does what it say and really gives my lashes volume. If I am going for a more natural look I will just wear this one on its own, but if I am going out I will pair with the Maybelline Colossal Mascara that lengthens.
Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Nude Delight- This is the perfect peachy nude shade lipstick. It is very creamy and goes on smoothly. I don't know if I would say that this product moisturizes my lips, but it doesn't dry them out like a lot of other lip products. This color is nice for everyday wear and I find myself reaching for it a lot.
Studio Gear Hidden Agenda Concealer- I have a hard time finding concealers that I like that last all day. This one not only lasts all day, but is thick enough to cover my dark circles and blemishes, but it isn't cakey. If you want to read a full review about this product click here.
I am on Spring Break this week and plan on doing a few posts. If there is anything that you would like to see please let me know below :)
